Canadian Natural Resources Limited is a senior independent oil and natural gas exploration, development and production company based in Calgary, Alberta. The company’s operations are focused in Western Canada, the North Sea and Offshore West Africa.

CNRL currently has more than 3,000 employees and expected to has more than 2,400 employees in next seven years.

The second stage is job identifying stage. The head office of Human Resource Department makes job specifications and descriptions. They decide the qualifications of applicants including education level, experience, technical knowledge and interpersonal and organizational skills.

The third stage is selection method. CNRL recruits many appropriate applicants from both inside and outside of the company, including current employees, college or university students, skilled workers from other organizations and even personal from outside of Canada. CNRL’s main method of internal recruitment is job posting.
