Tartuffe

The play that I attended was Tartuffe by Moliere. This was a seventeenth century french comedy. The play was very interesting to watch. It proceeded all my expectations because I though it was going to be a boring play. However, I found it to be very excited because it kept you wondering what was going to happen next. Orgon was so blind that he did not see through Tartuffe and decided to disinherit his son. He later puts Tartuffe in his will and sign his entire sole heir over to him.

Tartuffe began to proclaim his love for Elmire again and also says some dirty things about Orgon. After hearing this, Orgon finally is convinced and him orders Tartuffe from his household.
