The Amazon is considered to be one of the most beautiful places on earth due to its large number of exotic animals and also its large number of certain types of trees and flowers. It is also considered to be one of the largest forests in the world. But there also are many problems happening in many of the tropical rain forests all over the country. Some of those problems are poachers and wild fires. Also another problem is extinction for some animals that scientists are trying to save. We deal these problems worldwide and it is just so sad to hear about these when they are mentioned on the news.

There are some questions that need to be answered. One of the questioned that will be answered first is why is biodiversity important. Biodiversity is the variation of life forms in any ecosystem or biome. This is definitely a very important thing in any biome or ecosystem because you need more then one species of animals or creatures. Having biodiversity also creates a more colorful environment. Meaning all the different colors of animals and flowers. Now having biodiversity means that different animals and life forms can cross bread and create a new animal or life form. This is something the world needs because by doing this they make new animals that scientists and vets can help survive and start a new breed. This is good because if some animals species are impossible to save due to extinction crossbreeding will come in to play because the new breeds of species will take over for the species who just became extinct. It is like a cycle. Another of why biodiversity is important is because people depend on this for food and resources to live. It also gives us a wide variety of medicine, very god soil, clean air, and water. I would love to see scientists and doctors come up with a cure for the very serious illnesses out there that there are no cures for such as aids, Alzheimer’s, and some forms of cancer. Also it provides us with economic resources that we use everyday because we can get oil and we can use the tress for a wide variety of things like a lot of many paper products. And lastly it gives us a place to live. This is very important thing that we need to try to keep going.
