Cathartic Control

The human mind is an incredible machine. Capable of performing millions of calculations a second, we could, in theory, live out our whole lives in our head.

We could substitute real stimulus with imagined ones. Many of our most base instincts can, in fact, be manipulated by our minds. The problem however, is that we are not in control of our own minds.

Everything we know, everything we think we know, was put there. Was carefully thought out and planned to keep our minds busy. We do in fact live in the Matrix, but our Matrix isn’t electronic, it is a real virtual world. One that has been pruned and maintained for hundreds of years so that now we accept it and simply go with the flow. We have more important things to worry about anyway! We have bills to pay! We need to live! This is the point I guess I’m trying to make. We HAVE TO follow the system or suffer dire consequences.

The trends of western society mirror those in the media exactly.

The New Age movement promoting power to women etc. is yet another way to make people feel worthless. Since when was raising and nurturing a child and home not enough? Women today are lead to believe that they need to be independent to have worth, they need to be executives, they need to treat men as a sport in much the same way men tend to do to women.

All of mankind has an instinctive built in need to do something great. Ask anyone trusting enough and they will tell you “I feel I was meant for something bigger than this.” “I’m special,” etc. And they are all 100% correct. But these BIG things don’t seem to happen as often as they should? We are years overdue for revolution and change, but it isn’t coming. Why? Where have the special people gone? Why aren’t they doing what they were meant to do? They’re around, they’re just too busy paying bills and watching TV.

The most successful of TV shows, Movies, Books etc. Deal with average people doing amazing things:

Harry Potter, Spider-man etc. It’s these movies that are subduing our intent at greatness. We experience greatness daily on screens so that our thirst is quenched.

We need change, we need revolution. Democracy ended a long time ago, no where in the world do the people’ have the say. Bills and laws that the majority disagree with are passed everyday. But we’re too busy paying bills and watching tv to notice.

Every aspect of acceptable society is put in place to numb us
