"Climate changes due to global warming have the potential to lead to future large-scale and possibly irreversible changes in our climate resulting in impacts at continental and global scales." www.en.wikipedia.org

Many scientists have knowledge of the fact that the earths changing atmosphere and composition are attributed to human activities. The changes can be seen in increasing levels of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2). The increase of CO2 build up and other gases in the atmosphere are directly linked to human activities.

The earth's natural greenhouse gases emitted by human activities are increasing and remain in the atmosphere from decades to centuries. According to the IPCC (International Panel of Climate Change) there is evidence showing that most of the warming of the last 50 years are attributed to human activities.

Earths surface temperate has risen 1 degree Fahrenheit in the past century, and has accelerated in the past two decades, reported by the National Academy of Sciences. www.yosemit.epa

Atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide have increased by 30%, methane concentrations have more than doubled, and nitrous oxide concentrations have risen by 15%, reported by the U.S Environmental Agency. Why are the gasses increasing? There is evidence supporting that human activities and the combustion of fossil fuel are the primary reason. Fossil fuels burned to run cars and trucks, heat homes, and power factories are responsible for the emissions seen in green house gases. The United States emitted about one fifth of the total green house gases in 1997. If there continues to be no policies to control emissions by 2010 CO2 concentrations will be 30-150% higher than the levels are currently. www.yosemite.epa.gov

Green house gas will accelerate the rate of climate change, the average temperature could rise 1-4.5 degree Fahrenheit in the next fifty years. In the next century 2..2-10 degree
