Hello and a very good morning to all.

: I am Linda as your moderator, today.

Today, we will be talking about bully among secondary school students.

Nowadays, bullie is one of the popular case that always occur in our society. Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school students. Students who are bullied and who bully others may have serious and lasting problems. 

Before we go further, let me introduce to all of you our panels.

 
: Let me introduce our first panel, Miss Amni the counsellor of SMK Sri Tanjung. Good morning. Then our second panel today is Mr. Zaid which is representative of the parents. Good morning. And our third panel is Miss Shini, she is a former student from SMK Sri Tanjung. Good morning. Hopes all of you are fine. (To the panels)

: Without wasting our time, my first question to our first panel, Miss Amni, can you explain more to us about our  topic today, that is bullie among secondary school student.

: Thank You to our moderator and welcome to all the audience Assalamualaikum and good morning. Lets discuss about the bully issues. .

: Bullying in schools is a worldwide problem that can have negative consequences for the general school climate and for the right of students to learn in a safe environment without fear. Bullying can also

have negative lifelong consequences both for students who bully and for their victims.

Bullying can take many forms. For example:

• Physical. This type of bullying includes hitting, tripping and kicking, as well as destruction of a student's property.
• Verbal. Verbal bullying includes teasing, name-calling, taunting and making inappropriate sexual comments.
• Psychological or social. This type of bullying involves spreading rumors about a student, embarrassing him or her in public, or excluding him or her from a group.
• Electronic. Cyberbullying involves using an electronic medium, such as email, websites, a social media platform, text messages, or videos posted on websites or sent through phones, to threaten or harm others.

: From what of Miss Amni have said. Now we knew that there are few types of bullies.

: Okay… my next question is to Mr Zaid. As a parent, what is your opinion about the punishment which is suitable for the bullies?

: Thanks to our moderator.

: Assalamualaikum and very good morning to all the audience who have been here today. Now, I want to talk about the punishment should be imposed on the bullies out there.

: For me, any disciplinary action and legislation on the bullies should be reviewed again. This is because the action taken on them now does not scare them to stop their activities or bullying other students. The Ministry of Education may collaborate with the police to tackle this problem.  Each bullies should be appropriately punished like sending them to a reform school or suspension school to provide their awareness and give them a lesson and to the public.

As a parents, we must be aware  of our children. We need to look after them everyday. Asked about their routine everyday like their activities, where they go and with who. This is because most parents nowadays give less attention to their child.

Thank you to our moderator and welcome to all audience that have been here today. Good morning. In my opinion, the effect  that a victim will go through of bulliying is ,firstly they can be afraid to go to school.Secondly,they can be afraid to ride the bus.Thirdly,they can be afraid to use the school bathroom and lastly they can be afraid of being alone in the school hallway.The fear and anxiety caused by being a bullying victim can make it difficult to focus at school.

Then,being bullied as a student can been linked to Mental health problems. Student who are bullied are mostly will go through depression, anxiety, sleep problems and low self-esteem.Secondly, poor academic performance. Student who are bullied might be afraid to go to school and are more likely to get poor grades. Targets of bullying are also more likely to receive school detention or suspension, miss, skip or drop out of school.Thirdly,Substance abuse. Student who are bullied are more likely to use alcohol and other drugs.

Finally , the school can take firm action to the students involved.In conclusion , this issue needs to be handle quickly it becomes more serious. With this hope , all parties such as parents,teachers, school , community , and local authorities need to work together in handle this issue .Thats all from me.

 Actually there are lots more questions and answers that I want to share with audience since time is running. I will conclude our forum that bullies among secondary students is one of the serious issues that need to be taken serious actions so that it won’t be a major problem.Bullying is happening everywhere, even at your own school. You may not see it, you may not know it is there, but it is happening and it causes unimaginable pain to the victims. Bullying is everyone’s problem; therefore everyone has to be part of the solution.
