Hi! My name's Perrine Daphne Jess Nenaide Rankanishu. Wondering why my name sounds a bit exotic? As u can tell, I am a Eurasian. My mom's from the United States and my dad from Japan. I was thrown into this crazy and filthy world flocking with selfishness, greediness, fake and cruelty 17 years, 11 months and 20 days ago. Seeing the bad points of this world, I guess my parents are afraid of giving birth to another innocent child who may probably suffer. It explains the fact that I am the only child. Till today, I am still trying my very best to fight against the bad people in the world. To our luck, my family is a Christian family which is blessed and guided by the Lord and protected by our guardian angels.
* "Good morning, sweetie. Your breakfast is on the dining table," my mom shouted from nowhere.
"Thanks, mom!"
"Sweetie, me and your dad will go on a business trip in Hong Kong next week. We have deposited the money to your account you need during next week. Contact me on my cell phone if the money is not enough," Said mom.
"Okay mom. This is like the thousandth time you and dad go on business trip and I'm gonna be 18 ten days later. I can take care of myself." Replied by me.
"Good sweetie." *
That person is my mom. She and dad always have to go on business trips. I am used to staying home alone and take care of myself. They give me a lot of freedom, so much that you can't imagine. They give me the right to make my own decisions. I am grateful that I have never abused their trust in me. Thank God for guiding and inspiring me perpetually throughout my life. There is no way I can be who I am without Him.
I am studying in this exciting junior college which has probably by far the most talented and yet weirdest ones in the world, or in the whole universe I would say. The students in our school at least play two kinds of musical instruments and excel in at least one type of sport. A lot of them are in the national team who compete in some international competitions and have got a lot of medals and prizes already. The scientist who got the recent Nobel Prize graduated from our school too. We are all used to living under the limelight. There is hardly a day passing without any television station or radio station visiting or interviewing us.
In my case, I play the piano, the clarinet and the guitar. I still go on lessons on the clarinet nowadays despite of the fact that l have been playing it for 10 years because it's the favourite musical instrument of mine. Also now I believe I will concentrate on what is best or what I excel in, making me a useful person in society too. Instead of trying to learn everything in the past, I want to be good in what I do, not knowing the rest is ok for me now. I am convicted also that the clarinet is the instrument I should concentrate in but not guitar, piano or any other instruments. I believe I would take much time to practice on it too. For a thought has come to me that a ministry could even develop as I improve my skills, and offer guidance to people who need help. I am very happy to help people, but I am certainly not in the right position now with my skills. Although I have much temptation to even stop school now to concentrate on this instrument, I will obey God's will of putting me in this junior college. I will devote much time to working on my studies too. Even putting some time in to swimming and other sports which might benefit my clarinet playing.
* "Wanna catch a movie with me tonight, Per?" asked my buddy Emmanuel.
"Nah, I don't think so. Got tennis
