Jazz Report
I attended the University Symphony Orchestra's "An Evening of Handel, Schubert, and Haydn" on Thursday, September 30, 2003 in the Daniel Recital Hall. The hall was much more crowded than I expected. At the beginning of the concert, the orchestra was seated on the stage; the men wore tuxedos, and the women wore black dresses or pants. Listening Report Ð'- Nirvana: In Utero
This is probably one of my favourite CD's of all time. It has so many of Nirvana's greatest hits. I think (and I'm probably the only one) that Nirvana is a lot like Marilyn Manson in many ways. They completely created a new genre, and have the largest modern cult followings. Nirvana totally brought grunge to the world, and Manson brought us Alternative Music. Real ALTERNATIVE, as in the other choice. Anyways. On with the

Listening Report - Blow
This was a good CD. Not as good as the last three CD's that I did listening reports on, (Korn, Marilyn Manson, and Nirvana) but good nonetheless. I was absolutely appalled at the ranges of some of the people performing for this CD (Vaughn Nark, Allen Vizutti). Another thing that was really cool about this CD, is that, although it was a trumpet CD, there were other solos like Piano, Sax and drum solos, too.
