One of the most surprising, creative things from 911 is "weapons" that the terrorist used happened to be our airplanes. The terrorist had hijacked four of our planes Flight 93, Flight 175, Flight 11and Flight77.
American Airlines Flight 11 is the one that hit the North Tower and it was supposed to fly to Los Angles with 81 passengers, nine 9 attendants, and 2 pilots. The plane took off from Boston's Logan Airport at 7:59am. At 8:13 the last radio communication was made from the pilots to ground control. At 8:20 the plane stopped transmitting its transponder signal a took a dramatic turn west out of the planes original route. At 8:28 controllers watched the plane make a 100-degree turn toward the south. The plane continued south along the Hudson River until it reached the World Trade Center. At 8:46 flight 11 collided with the North Tower.
United Airlines Flight 175 is the plane that hit the World Trade Center's South Tower and was supposed to go to Los Angles also 56 passengers, 7 flight attendants and 2 pilots. At 8:14 AM, Flight 175 took off from Boston's Logan Airport, 16 minutes late. At 9:03, Flight 175 collided with the South Tower.
United Airlines Flight 93 was the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania. Flight 93 was on a scheduled flight from Newark to San Francisco, with 38 passengers, 5 flight attendants, and 2 pilots. At 8:42, the plane took off from Newark International Airport, 41 minutes late. Controllers think that Flight 93 was hijacked at around 9:27. Flight 93 was originally planed from the hijackers to fly into the U.S capital (Washington D.C).AT 10:06am flight 93 was supposedly shot down in Somerset, P.A. But it was also brought down because a struggle in the cockpit that Edward Felt claimed in his phone call to the airline company just before the plane went down.
