Oscar Rodriguez was a native of Puerto Rico. He move to Florida in 1985 and spoke little of English. Rodriguez went to a community college and worked at the mall to support himself. He had a dream about starting his own business. This paper will discuss how ambitious, agreeable, and motived Rodriguez was too successful. It also discusses the factors that help him become successful and how hard he works to fulfill his dream.
Contributing success factors
One of the factors was Rodriguez personal values. He was an entrepreneur and an optimistic person. He agrees to take the advice from his girlfriend and took a job at a local jewelry store. Rodriguez did not know anything about jewelry. He work hard and learned every factor that thing about diamonds. Rodriguez did attend a community college to receive his certification in diamonds grading was another factor. He knew he was not going to be successful work in the jewelry store. This gave him the ideal to explore other option for a business. Rodriguez decided to open his own business to sell jewelry. Rodriguez had a dream when he arrives in the United States not knowing it would be selling diamonds on the internet.
Five dimensions
Oscar does not appear to be an outright extrovert, and he show introvert as his characteristics. Rodriguez seems to be in the middle of the path. He made the right choice by working in the jewelry store. Some people let other thing distract them from completing his or her goals. Rodriguez followed his dream, and this made him so successful in life today. Oscar seems to be a conscientious person because he thought thing through in what he wanted out of life.
Emotional stability, openness to experience, and extroversion are low although they do have a significant power as well. Rodriguez appears to score high on these dimensions. He took a chance to come to the United States and went to college. Rodriguez could not speak English very well, but that did not stop him. Oscar excited about starting his own business selling jewelry on the Internet. By listening to some of his customers about buying diamonds cheaper on the Internet gave him the ideal.
Self - evaluation
Rodriguez would score high on core self - evaluation. He was very ambitious individual and entrepreneur. Rodriguez sees himself capable of making his business be successful. He has a positive way of looking his goals. Rodriguez worked hard
