A Soldier

Looking at this man I can easily say that he is a soldier- possibly of East Asian descent. I would guess his age is from 38-44, though his career as a soldier may have prematurely aged him. His tanned skin is worn, leathery, and pock marked; traces of dirt are smeared across his left cheek. At first glance his gaze looks intimidating and mean, but after a closer look I can see sadness and weariness in his eyes. His black curly hair is long and pulled back; revealing a dimpled forehead and a furrowed brow. His lips are pinched together, and partially hidden by his thick mustache. This gives him a mildly intimidating air. There seems to be a fresh bruise under his right eye, reinforcing his hardened look. His left eye appears to be slightly closed, possibly trying to avoid the sun. His right ear is completely hidden by untamed frizzy curls. His face is unshaven, sporadic growth covers his cheeks and chin- I'm assuming he does not have much time for grooming.

He appears to be carrying some sort of drum on his back. In his gloved hands he is holding a canteen. Attached to his chest there is some sort of fuzzy black thing, I'm going to say it's a pelt of animal fur. He has bullets draped across one shoulder, and a rifle draped across the other. At first I thought he was wearing chainmail but his shirt appears to be made of some sort of wool. If asked to describe this man in one word, I would say stoic. His proud stance and unwavering gaze emit stoicism.
