Aboriginal Dignity

Why is it, that we Aboriginal people are always outsmarted or outworked in movies that are produced today? I am writing this because I need to express my feelings before I blow up from stress about it. How can someone write these movie screenplays when they do not care about our feelings and the negative affect it has on our people? I feel very offended as a living human being of aboriginal ethnicity that we are always outwitted in movies and television shows. You never see the “white man” getting picked on or beaten upon, it is always the aboriginal person. I believe that people, who are not aboriginal, feel that we have no feelings. They are very wrong to interpret that. If people in this world do not believe every human being is equal no matter what race they are then they should be dealt with by the law. I personally feel that my ethnic background is not welcome in this world. Why do I feel that way? I feel this way because our people are not given the dignity that they deserve. We are given the lowest end of living conditions and that flood’s into the public perception of our people. I would like to see a tremendous change with how others treat my race, and if there is not a significant change then I will be very angry and I will take it upon myself to increase the tolerance of my people. Please stop making us out to be the villain; we are good, honest people. Stop by sometime for a visit and get to know me, you might like me.
