The best example to prove FriedmanÐ'ÐŽÐ'Їs great is china, which he had visited some times in the last two decades . If you view china as a rising star, you should reguad Friedman a hero ,that is not to asy he had do sth help chinese official, but to say his theory is the bases chinaÐ'ÐŽÐ'Їs boom which lasted so long that you canÐ'ÐŽÐ'Їt imagine as china began open that is limit in toadyÐ'ÐŽÐ'Їs view .
And ,if you look china as a beast ,the reason is in china the freedom is still too little .
I am from India which was a conisiderably closed economy before 1991. The problem with citizens of so called first world countries is that they do not have first hand experience of third world countries. The poverty and lack of basic freedom that we experienced is something you will never appreciate. It is the free market policies as advocated by visionaries like Mr. Friedman that has helped countries like India to come out of its self-destructing policies. If you, the people of first world countries, really care about eradicating poverty and bringing overall development
of the world would care to read Mr. FriedmanÐ'ÐŽÐ'Їs work. What he has done is showing us the right path. He may not be correct in everything that he said, but on the basic level he is absolutely right. As a proof, look at India and other east countries following open market policies. My deepest thanks to a great economist and a couragious human being, Mr. Milton Friedman
