I sympathise with both Apollo and Daedalus but however I sympathise with Daedalus much more that Apollo because he has not lost someone who he loved but he has lost his one and only son.

Some would say that they would sympathise with Apollo because he was cursed with love and will never feel the same after he has lost he one and only true love in life. They would also say that now Apollo would no longer have anything to live for. They would also say that Daedalus has other family and can move on with his tragic loss unlike Apollo.

However other people would disagree and say that Daedalus is the one to sympathise with. This is because he has lost his one and only son who he loved and saw him fall to his death. They would also argue losing a family is worse than losing a loved one.

So in conclusion I believe that people should sympathise with Daedalus because he has lost his beloved on and watched him die right in front of his eyes.

Do YOU want to be invaded and watch the City of Sparta crumble? No?...... Well neither do we. That’s why we have the Agoge. It is a gruelling, tough and toughness test which lasts from 9 years old all the way till the young boy is of age (30). Are the tests mentally challenging? Yes. Are they physically challenging? Yes. Are the tests life threatening? Oh Absolutely! This is so we only have the best, fittest and mentally strong defending our beautiful land. I believe in this vision and so do YOU I hope.
