Rome and Juliet act 1 paper
This is Benvolios comparison of Romeos current love for his new one.
Act 1 Scene 2 Line 84
Benvolio: At this same ancient fiest of Capulet sups the fair Rosaline, whom thou so loves, with all that admire beauties of Verona. Go thither, and with untainted eye compare her face with some that I shall show, and I will make thee think thy swan a crow
This quotes importance is the fact that Romeo will go to the party and go to see Rosaline but instead fall in love with Juliet. To this play this is a key event which leads to Romeo declaring undying love for Juliet and then dying with her.
