There are many habits that are developed in every person. People tend to develop these habits through their exposures to the natural environment, what ever that may be. Many habits go on undetected or that a person may not be aware of the habits that he or she has. Although some habits are helpful in a person's life, other habits are known to be harmful even addictive to a person's life. Smoking cigarettes is one of those habits that are detrimental to one's health and longevity. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), cigarette smoking is the single most preventable cause of premature death in the United States (CDC, 2005).
