             swan High Dam

 Aswan high Dam, a rock fill dam across the Nile River, in Aswan, Egypt, completed in 1970 formally.   It is 364 feet high with a length of 12,562 feet, and volume of 57,940,000 cubic yards. When built, the Aswan Dam helped regulate the flooding of the Nile River, eliminating famine and extremely dry conditions which were causing hunger in Egypt. [pic 2]

The mining sector in Guinea contributes around 25% of the country’s income, with bauxite production by far the most important contributor, making Guinea a significant bauxite producer. Bauxite is not a mineral, but a rock with minerals in it.  Bauxite is a sedimentary rock that is an aluminum ore.  It is formed in weathered volcanic rocks.   It costs a lot of money to get the aluminum out of other ores, so Bauxite is important.[pic 4]

Crops in Africa play a big role in economy. It does because having crops gives you the chance to have foreign exchange. Crops also can be a symbol of Africa’s culture. It provides employment for about two-thirds of the continent’s working population and for each country contributes an average of 30 to 60 percent of gross domestic product and about 30 percent of the value of exports. [pic 6]

Diamond is a wealthy thing to have, Africa can ship and sell the diamonds to America to sell. Since a lot of Americans (mostly women) like to buy jewelry that contains diamond in in Africa can get a lot of money off of that.  [pic 8]

Some countries in Africa have schooling but not all. Most of the kids in poor parts of Africa don’t go to school.  Since some kids can’t go to school because the country can’t afford for every kid go to school, they would be forced to pay for the schooling; which won’t be very common because the families don’t have that type of money.

      It’s really hard for the poor parts of Africa to survive because they don’t have enough food to survive. The wealthy groups have a lot of different flavors/types of foods that represent them. Food is a big part of Africa’s culture.

The Great Rift Valley has a very nice view and is friendly to visitors from all around. The Valley continues into the trough of the Red Sea and at the southern end branches into the Gulf of Aden, where it continues as part of the Mid-Oceanic Ridge of the Indian Ocean.[pic 15]

Africa is known as the first place there was humanity. The theory is that they migrated.[pic 17]

The trade that Africa has with America is causing Africa to have funds.  In a lot of parts industry has been decreasing.

There aren’t many jobs in Africa that pay so well, most jobs in Africa arwe very simple job and that’s the reason they get paid so low. Its hard to support the families when they don’t get paid a low price.[pic 21]

           Enyan Runners

Kenyan runners are very fast runners. Theyre culture is running; running s pretty much their life. They don’t afford the top equipment all the time, they don’t need that; they need hope.

          Iteracy rate

The literacy rate Africa is very low in Africa. A lot of kids in Africa are illiterate and most of the adults can’t read either. Economically they cant do anything because they don’t have the money to get educated, top teachers. [pic 26]

Mount Kilimanjaro is known as the highest mountain in Africa. It’s a very important landform to Africa.
