The people having been fighting over Jerusalem for thousands of years. As we speak Jerusalem is divided into four sections. One for each major religion. These people cant live together any longer. They all need to be united under one government, one leader. That is why proposal B would be most realist. It will be ruled under a Jewish state.
In 1947 Israel was content about its chuck of land. But Pakistan attacked Israel, the Jews fought back and conquered some of Pakistan's land. They took over the Gaza strip and most of the West Bank. If the countries were split in half and divided it equally. The mutuality of people wouldn't be happy. Also once the Pakistanis got back in power, they would want more. Pakistanis start fights.
In the movie Promises many of the Palestinian children that are interviewed live in refugee camps. They admit to saying to a Jewish kid “i don't want to like you...”. Proving they are born and raised to hate Jews. Growing up in a refugee camp, you grow pain and hatred towards your opposer.
In may of 2008 Israel is celebrating their sixty years of Independence. It is unreasonable to ask their seven million people living their to leave. Sixty years ago the jews were okay with any land. They took a bad satiation and made it better. They harvested food on “ungrowable land”. They articulated the whole country. Spoils of war.
