"Anda's Game" is overall one of the most interesting stories and one of the most relatable, just for the fact that we all know quite a few people who play games of that nature. However, games of this nature can get addicting to the point where it takes over someone's life. In this paper we will explore the particulars of this story plus we will study some information about the author.
First off, this story takes place in Australia, which is obvious because of the language and the dialect of the story. This story is about a girl named Anda, who seems like a loaner. She does not seem to have any real friends outside her game. She also does not like to get sweaty, so therefore she does not like hardly any sort of physical activity. Her parents pretty much let her do her own thing all the time, and she spends that time playing games.
In the beginning of the story, we find out that girls who play this game usually use male avatars so creepers do not stalk them and try to cyber with them. In the story it states, "she'd played a boy-elf, because her parents had sternly warned her that if you played a girl you were an instant perv-magnet." Eventually, "Liza the Organiza" comes to Anda's school to give a lecture to the girls. She tells them that you should not be afraid to use a female avatar and by doing this she is trying to empower this girls with the sense of

Sarge then persuades Anda to do missions on their game for money. Sarge states "I have a mission that pays real cash. Whichever paypal you're using, they'll deposit money into it. Looks fun, too." To earn the money, they have to go around and kill low level players that make shirts. Eventually, Anda learns that people in poor countries are playing these games just to live. Anda stops killing these players and risks her Fahrenheit membership because of her moral values and because of the fact that she and Sarge got into a fight. After this happened, she stopped playing the game for a month and actually
