After a tremendous battle led by the pigs- Snowball, Napoleon and Squealer the animals succeed in kicking Mr Jones out of the farm. With the animals triumphant they start to make the first changes to the farm. Firstly they change the name of the farm to "Animal Farm", and then they made a few ground rules such as, "No animal shall kill any other animal."

"All animals are equal."

"No connections with any human."

After all this the farm was very prosperous and soon enough the villagers started to get jealous of the farm. They tried to take over the farm and failed on several occasions.

After the last attack Napoleon was fed up of Snowball's reign over the farm and decided to take charge. He got a group of vicious dogs to chase Snowbell out of the farm. Napoleon was somewhat of a dictator and had his right hand pig- Squealer to tell the other farm animals about his plans for the farm. After a short time as the leader of the farm, things stated to be harder on the animals- except for the pigs. The pigs started to break the rules that they made, but the other animals were too scared to say anything. The animals were made to work harder and had little food.
