Ventegodt, Soren. "Quality of Life Theory 3. Maslow Revisited." The Scientific World Journal 2003.84 (2003): 1050-1057.
"Abraham Maslow characterized the good life as a fulfillment of needs..." (Ventegodt 1051). The author covers the development needed for a person to become self-actualized. Ventegodt emphasizes each step in Maslow's pyramid as steps towards true happiness based on Maslow's theories. Soren Ventegodt is the Director of the Quality of Life Research Center in Copenhagen, Denmark. His article seems to cover most people around the world who have not heard about the true answer towards happiness. This was much like "Herzberg's Theory of Motivation and Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs" document because both discuss the importance of each man or woman to complete the steps of Maslow's pyramid to achieve happiness. "Herzberg's Theory of Motivation and Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs" goes more in depth into motivators instead of Maslow. This article illuminates the bibliography topic by going into a more in depth research of Maslow's Hierarchy of needs through a more in depth background of Maslow's theories.

Gawel brings out the possible formation of motivation in the workplace through: achievement, recognition, the work itself, responsibility, and advancement. He then illustrates the how most men and women get stuck at the esteem part. "Therefore, it can be concluded that self-actualization is a proponent need for esteem" (Gawel 2). Gawel basically covers how through Maslow's Heirarchy it can be concluded esteem not self-actualization is the number one step to get through and in Herzberg's theory people
