Project Title: Information Technology (IT) Upgrade Project

1.1 Problem Statement:

The business reason for initiating the project is that the monthly reporting process in ABSoft is complicated and inaccurate.

1.2 Project mission:

The mission is to prepare a new project. Its goal is to develop a reporting application that will facilitate the monthly reporting process.

1.3 Project scope:

Ð'* Facilitate the monthly reporting process.

Ð'* The reporting application is used by all the company's departments.

Ð'* Give accurate expenses and revenues figures from the finance department.

Ð'* Give an accurate figure of the number of employees in the company.

Ð'* Give accurate number of new, pending, and completed customer's websites.

Ð'* Maintenance and repairs requests coming to the administration department.

Ð'* Should leave a place for departments to comment on the resulting reports.

1.5 Assumptions:

Ð'* To assume that every one is going to be able to use this application.

Ð'* Equipment order lead times are known and can be expected to be met.

Ð'* The project organization described in the project plan will be put in place.

1.6 Constraints:

Ð'* The system has to be delivered in 3 months maximum.

But if there is not enough time to complete the project with good quality, then we can assign more personnel to finish it on time.
