Apprentice Episode #3
I. In this episode, the two team's task is a sort of scavenger list of items like a bar of gold, golf club, camera, and squid, to purchase throughout the day at the lowest possible total price. The reward is dinner at Club 21, a restaurant that Trump's father loves. The guys decide that they want Sam as the group leader, some of them in hopes that if they don't win, Donald will send Sam home. The girls still have some tension with Omorosa and Ereka and in the beginning of the episode, Katrina tries to mediate only to be completely frustrated with Omorosa.
II. The men, or Versacorp, who are lead by Sam, split into two groups one to go and do the buying and one group to stay inside and look for bargains. The women also split into two groups that split the items and both went out to barging shop. Once again, the girls use their sex appeal to sort of seduce the sellers to give them a good price. Sam gets word that the gold should be purchased early due to fluctuation of price throughout the day. As the men first arrive into Chinatown where they believe they can cut their prices dramatically, Sam calls and redirects them back to where they had just come from to buy the gold. The guys aren't sure this is the best idea, but lead by Sam, he wouldn't budge, he wanted the gold purchased first. When they got to the gold, they only got a total discount for the gold of one dollar. Another problem occurred when Sam called with a store for the golf club. When Bill called the store, they informed him that they didn't even sell golf clubs. This frustrates the guys and makes them wonder what the point of having Sam check stores and internet for prices is for. The guys doing the purchases in turn are crunched for time and end up having to jog blocks and blocks due to the time crunch. The women win by a huge amount again. Trump is disgusted at the men's
