Asian women are those who were born and grew up in Asia, specifically from Southeast Asia, come from Asian parents. They are the women from Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, East Timor, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

They carry with them their traditional values when it comes to love and marriage. Even those who have been westernized still practice most of their traditions for they were greatly influenced by their Asian parents. Such values are deeply instilled in them in the process of growing up and their personal experiences at home.

Their standard of beauty differs from the western women. Their physical features are greatly appreciated by Americans. Just watch a Miss Universe, Miss International and other beauty pageants, and see how Asian beauties sparkle. They have almond-shaped eyes, dark hair, fair, tawny or tan complexion, slender and graceful figure.

Every Asian lady is an individual, with her own set of history and identity. They are like beautiful flowers growing in the garden, in their array of colors, scents and shapes.

A Filipina differs from a Vietnamese but a Filipina is also different from others of the same nationality. So even in the same nationality, you also have to account for different ethnicity. A Cebuana (the Filipina from Cebu) loves to eat danggit (dried fish) but is nauseated by the field rat or frog that some women in Luzon considered a delicacy. Asian women have similar and different cultures, so they cannot be categorized into one group.

Foreigners usually consider the women of Asia as one; they are not the same for they grew up in different cultures. There are many completely different cultures in Asia. For instance, in food alone, women from countries which practice Buddhism do not eat beef. So when you invite her for dinner, remember that beef steak has never been part of her menu.
