After the bombing of Air India flight 182 attacks, there is a need to develop the next generation of security professionals in government and to provide a means for existing professionals to enrich their understanding of terrorism. A research study represents the steps taken by the government such as AVIATION SECURITY, PROSECUTION, and INFORMATION SHARING for safety purpose of localized people from certain terrorist attacks.

Strategy:

The Canadian government introduced some safety measures for the counterterrorism by initiating some steps those includes:

1) Information sharing: It includes Incorporated National Security Enforcement Groups (INSETs) that has legislation agents as well as can conducts national security criminal examinations.

2) Aviation security: involves techniques used to protect air travelers and planes which help airports from such a terrorist accidents and other threats.

3) Prosecution: they introduced legislation like Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Justification:

I have chosen this topic because I found this topic as a unique one due to the strategy implemented by the government for the safety of Canadian people. The Canadian government introduced different policies and empowered legislation that makes stronger prosecution. I have personal interest into airport security and that is the main reason I choose this topic because I got chance to shape my interest in a form of research and my one of strategy includes information about aviation security that make my topic so distinct from other topics.
