Your Role
BGI's investment philosophy is founded on a quantitative approach to investment management. The Knowledge Management group within BGI, is responsible for feeding the "raw material" i.e. market data to the various downstream users like researchers, portfolio managers, traders and custodians to ensure timeliness and accuracy of input data in to various mission-critical processes.
This role provides a broad view of BGI's products and services, and the combination of analytical and interpersonal skills required to be successful will ensure exposure to dealing with complex situations with an active sense of urgency and emotional intelligence. The market data group is indeed one of the truly global teams in BGI with footprints in San Francisco, London, Tokyo and Sydney and this translates to global exposure to the candidate.
