Developing Champions

A TEAM is a group of individuals working together towards a shared goal. While each player is encour- aged to be their unique self, we stress a TEAM first mentality with emphasis on Program values. Our Program values are the foundation of the Program’s culture and provide a framework for how decisions will be made. All players, parents, coaches, and anyone else associated with the Program are expected to abide by these values. Together Everyone Achieves More (T.E.A.M.)

Pride in everything you do is what will make you a champion. Being proud of who you are and what you do on and off the field is a big key to success. Along with pride, having the 12 points from the Boy Scout’s Scout Law is also very important if you want to better yourself and the people around you. Being trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obediant, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverant, not only on the field, but also in the classroom and in your community will set you up to be a champion. Having a great character is an amazing attribute to posses. The sure sign of a person’s character is what they do when no one is watching. Eventhough you may not think anyone is watching, there is usually somebody that is. Along with that, go through each practice and game with the thought that every single game or practice is a tryout, even if it is an easy day.

Hold yourself accountable for your actions. Transfer of blame does not exist in Champions. Players must take responsibility for their actions. We want our program to consist of Student/Athletes that can look themselves in the mirror every night and answer YES to the questions "Did i improve today, did i work hard enough to make my Team/Family better? Being part of our program means you will be held at a higher standard in the classroom, at school functions, and at social events than other students or citizens, especially if you’re wearing something that represents our team. Every player is a walking billboard for the team. Our Mission

Through the commitment we give our players we expect the saem commitment back. We strive to balance the weight of life and the life of baseball. Establishing an environment for success that values when you make a mistake you learn from it. Teamwork is what will make or break a team, we strive to make the individuals of our organization turn into a team, and not into a team of individuals looking to better theselves.
