Benjamin Franklin strove to paint a picture of himself for all Americans to read. He portrayed himself to be a real business man. He tried to let everyone know that he didn't do any thing fun. He didn't do any thing that did not have a purpose. Benjamin Franklin painted the picture that he was not fun to be around.

Benjamin Franklin was very convincing of how boring he was. He was always talking about how he didn't drink and he didn't like to eat unless he was really hungry. Benjamin Franklin spent almost every minute of everyday working. Ben Franklin made up thirteen virtues they were temperance, silence, order, resolution frugality, industry, sincerity, justice, moderation, cleanliness, tranquility, chasticy and humility. For silence he said speak not but what may benefit others or yourself. Avoid trifling conversation. Which means don't have a conversation with someone unless you are going to learn something useful.

Benjamin Franklin thought that if he slept as little as possible then he could work as much as possibly. Benjamin Franklin would only get about five hours of sleep a night. When he woke up he would make a goal for every day. Benjamin Franklin thought that the day was not worth it if it didn't have a goal.

Benjamin Franklin strove to paint a picture of himself for all Americans to read in his biography. The picture he tried to paint was as a business man. He never did anything that didn't have a point. He didn't even like to talk to people if it didn't have a point. Benjamin Franklin painted the picture that he was not a fun guy to hang around with.
