Introduction
This topic cought the reaserchers interest they know that hey can relate to this,and the reasercher are certain that they will learn from this study.
This issue awakens the interest and the curiosity as to what could be the underlying how the Bureau of Fire and Protection are ready during calamities and emergencies. Moreover, the reaserchers are eager to know the performance of the Bureau of Fire and Protection and the readiness during calamities and emergencies.
As a basic knowledge regarding this topic, being ready during calamities and emergencies are important to the members of BFP. This has been a factor to the level of performance of the Bureau of Fire Protection not only in the philippines but also around the world.
Calamities and Emergencies, as we all know, are unexpected to happen that’s why being prepared and ready are important to for the Bureau of Fire and Protection and the Community for their safety. Some of the people in the community are not aware in the preparedness and readiness during calamities and emergencies. As such Bureau of Fire Protection readiness during calamities and emergencies are important to their performance in relation of the safety of the community.
It is important to the members to the Bureau of Fire Protection to have a schooling, training and attended seminar workshop in order to enhance theri knowledge and skills when it comes to calamities and emergencies.

Statement of the problem
Generally, This study aimed to asses the performance of BFP in readiness during call of duty.
Specifically, this study sought to answer the following question:
- What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of;
- Age
- Gender
- Position or Rank
- Training or Seminar workshop
- Educational Attainment
- To what is the assessment of performance of the respondents in the of BFP in readiness during call of duty:
- Preparedness during natural calamities
- Preparedness during Fire incident
- Preparedness during other rescue operation
- Is there a significant relationship between the respondent’s demographic profile in terms of the performance in readiness during calamities and emergencies.

The figure shows the conceptual framework of the study. The inputs are the profile of the respondents and the competency assessment. The process is the formulation of questionnaires and the conducting of of surveys.
