My socio-autobiography
I am going to be entering my junior year at Devry University. During my first years here, I have been studying hard in my chosen major of Biomedical Engineering, as someday I hope to become an Engineer. I am taking a minor in Computer-Science so that I may better understand the Chemistry that may lead to the advanced information technology of tomorrow.
Prior to my college experience, I had the privilege of studying in a Catholic atmosphere. I attended elementary school at St. Anne in Linwood and St. Michaels in Pinconning where I began to understand that my success in life depended upon my belief in myself. From there, I went to All Saints Central High School (A.S.C.) where I prided myself in being involved in many clubs and organizations to help make my experience in high school the best it could possibly be. Because of my hard work and dedication to my studies, I was accepted into the National Honors Society where I became an example for the rest of the students to follow. During my four years at A.S.C, I was on the Varsity Tennis team where I was able to be the Regional Champion all four years. I was undefeated my first three years and it wasn't until my senior year that I had seen my first loss. As far back as I can remember I have been playing tennis, and it was on All Saints' team that I knew that believing in myself was the key to winning a match. I learned all too fast that in the game of tennis if you don't believe in yourself, then don't expect yourself to make it past the first game. Playing tennis for those four years is one of the most gratifying experiences that I have had. It helped push me to my full potential here at Devry University.
For the past five years I have been working in a Podiatrist office and have found that helping people is a reward in itself. I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Judi Ecker D.P.M., at the Bay City Foot Clinic. With each patient that walks in the
