This brand has over 130 years of history , the firm was founded in 1884 in Rome by a greek goldsmith called Sotirio Bulgari that thanks to his skills, passion and innovations lay the groundwork untill Bulgari became a symbol of the italian exellence. Bulgari broke free from conventions very early in its history with the sensuality of its shapes, the sharpness of its lines, the sparkle of colored stones and combining classicism and modernity, its creations are infused with an emotion that is unique and make the brand a legend. Bulgari’s extraordinary success stems from this unquenchable desire to preserve its heritage while also looking energetically to the future. The Bulgari brand grew so much and so fast expecially during the fifties and sixties years, period called ''years of dolce vita'', and was incredibly famous in the elite of local and international rich people. In the seventies the market became more and more international and in those years the firm wanted the expand his prospective and decided to enter in the business of watches with the timeless model called Bvlgari-Bvlgari in 1977. The firm has been enriched over 3 generations of creative Bulgari family members who have decade after decade created epochal and timeless masterpieces but in 2011 the brand has been bought for the 98% by the french colossus LVHM around 1.3 billion euro. Bulgari still remain one of the best company in the world in its sector, with a brand-name well know around the whole world.
