Travelocity has a code of ethics called "Business Ethics Policy". The company's code of ethics meets the requirements of the New York Stock Exchange's corporate governance which lists standards for a code of business conduct and ethics; the company also meets the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission for a code of ethics that applies to financial officers. Travelocity's Business Ethics Policy applies to the company's directors, officers, employees and contractors around the world. The topics that are in the policy include the following: conflicts of interest; corporate opportunities; confidentiality; fair dealing; protection and proper use of company assets; compliance with laws, rules and regulations; accurate books and records; and confidentiality.

Travelocity must follow rules and regulations of organizations such as the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and counterparts in Canada and the European Union.
