It's important to know what's happening in someone's community. At least that's what a good citizen would do. A good citizen would know what's happening whether it's good or bad. If everyone were a bad citizen, there would be much confusion. Also, if everyone were a good citizen there would be no confusion. That is why people should be a good citizen. A good citizen is involved in their community. They could make the town a better place by cleaning it up. Also, a good citizen could also organize the town events. If everyone were a good citizen, the town would be a much better place to live. That is why it's important to be a good citizen. In addition, if everyone were a bad citizen, the town wouldn't be good place to live. It wouldn't be a good thing to live in a bad community. That's why people have to be a good citizen and respects other people's property. If people weren't a good citizen, the communities would be a bad place to live.
The question is can public schools produce good citizens? I believe that they could. Stephen Macedo mentions that by stating that public schools can and produce good citizens. Believing that students are geared more towards the civic educational criterion integrated into today's educational system, he focuses on the response to ongoing trends in the educational standards today and how they switch attention away from traditional methods of education such as newspaper and by replacing them with media such as the internet to get their information about world events.
However, Chester E. Finn, Jr. contends that public institutions cannot provide good citizens because as Ð''free citizens to rule the state" does the state have the right. The public school go based on funding.
