Cause and Effect
Dustin
There are many reasons why people take jobs in the economy that we live in today. I am going to list three reasons why I chose the job I have and what the effects are of each reason.
The first reason that I took my job as a sales associate at a nursing scrub store is probably the most evident. We all need money to survive, and surviving means to be able to buy things that you need to live on a day to day basis. By having money I can do things like buy groceries, pay for a place to live, and to put gas in my vehicle so that I have a mode of transportation.
The second reason that I took this job is the fact that I have a very understanding manager when it comes to scheduling my hours. Her reasoning for doing this is to allow me to be both a full-time student, as well as a full-time employee. By her doing this she is allowing me to accomplish my dream of graduating college, as well as working a full 40 hours so that I have money to survive.
My final reason for taking my job is the overall experience of having the job itself. By working I am building my knowledge of computers by working with different mainframes. Along with gaining computer knowledge, I am also building a good social outlook on how other people achieve certain goals that they set for themselves.
In conclusion the three reasons I work are very common ways of life. The first reason is the money. The second reason is the ability to work around my school schedule. The third reason for taking the job is gaining knowledge for computers, as well as gaining a great knowledge of society.
