2. Please identify the distinguishing characteristics of a business group (Strachan and scholarly identification)

-Strachan: a diversity of enterprise within the group, pluralism (a coalition of business people and family) –utmost loyalty and trust

-Scholars: -they function as multidivisional conglomerates that consist of independent legal entities, -although there are no legal bindings among these companies, they tend to be centrally controlled and coordinated
