Children story intends children growing up and educates
Children’s literature is any literature that is enjoyed by children. “Children’s literature comprises those books written and published for young people young people who are not yet interested in adult literature or who may not possess the reading skills or developmental understandings necessary for its perusal. In addition to books, children’s literature also includes magazines intended for pre-adult audiences (children’s literature).” The age for the children’s literature’s readers is eight to fourteen.
Although the children’s literature is intended primarily for children, it is more divided into two different groups of readers: children and adults. The adults have parent, teachers and people who are over eighteen years old.” Adults often function as gatekeepers who identify appropriate texts for children. Since children’s literature has been marketed and purchased by adults who, in turn, present it to children, authors and publishers have attempted to produce children’s text that appeal to the actual adult purchaser, if not the child reader to the text (children’s literature).” In many time, adults need to read the stories with the children, because children may be not understand the meaning and the word with the stories. In this situation, adults need to learn the children’ literature, we can learn a lot of thing from the stories. Although adults live in the society for a long time, it doesn’t mean they know everything. After they read the children’s literature, they can match their learning with their experience in the society. Then, they can have deep understanding, and teach their understanding to children.
I have read a lot of children’s literatures. For example, Anderson writes a lot of fairy tales. Karen Levine writes the Hana’s Suitcase. E.B. White writes the Charlotte’s Web. Robert N. Munsch writes the paper bag princess. Successful writes often that their works not simply entertain but instruct readers about the existing practices and even faults of introduce two children’s literatures and tell you what I have learned from the stories, and how it can intend children growing up. The two children literatures are Charlotte’s web and the paper bag princess.
Charlotte’s Web is about a pig name Wilbur. Fern is good girl, and she saved a pig under her father’s ax, and adopt the pig. When the pig is growing up, Fern’s father sell the pig to Fern’s uncle’s farm. The pig want to make friends with other animals in the farm, and a spider name Charlotte make friends with the pig. Throughout the novel, the friendship between Wilbur and Charlotte save Wilbur’s life. Charlotte write some words like “some pig” and “Terrific” in her web, so Fern’s uncle will not kill Wilbur. Finally, Charlotte is order, and she finishes great work eggs sac. After Charlotte is dead, Wilbur takes care with Charlotte’s children.
The theme of the story most focused on the friendship. Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people. “Although there are many forms of friendship, some of which may vary from place to place, certain characteristics are present in many types of friendship. Such as characteristics include affection, sympathy, empathy, honesty, mutual understanding and compassion, trust and the ability to be oneself, express one’s feelings, and make mistake without fear of judgment from the friend (Akhtar,Salman).” There are two different friendships in the stories: the friendship between Fern and Wilbur, and the other friendship between Wilbur and Charlotte. I think the friendship between Fern and Wilbur is affection. When Wilbur is born, Fern adopts Wilbur, and takes care with Wilbur like her child. The friendship between Wilbur and Charlotte is empathy, honesty, altruism and trust. Charlotte is a spider, and she is bloodthirsty, but it is a miserable inheritance and exists. Actually, Charlotte is friendly, smart, beautiful and loyalty. Charlotte and Wilbur use their action to prove that their friendship is stronger. Charlotte helps him to recognize his own unique self-worth and gives him the confidence that is necessary. Actually, Charlotte doesn’t need to do like that. As Charlotte say:” what’s a life, away? We are born, we live a little while, and we die. A spider’s life can’t help being something of a mess, with all this trapping and eating flier. By helping you perhaps I was trying to life up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone’s life can stand a little of that.” Wilbur uses his food to trade with the mouse name Templeton, and takes care with them like a mother. It teaches children that are important to find good friends in their lives. After you have make friends with others, you need to be loyal your friendship.
Charlotte’s Web has a lot of different characters, and you can learn different thing from different characters. Wilbur is a runt pig, and he is lack of confidence and self-worth. The vulnerabilities are similar with some children in the world. Although Wilbur has a lot of weakness, he is successful to change his weakness and become a good pig. Templeton is an important character in the novel. Templeton is a mouse, and he is sly, avaricious and rebarbative. It tells children there is other person like Templeton in the world and the character reminds us that growing up, living and interacting between people are always a challenge. Although children will be growing up with some bullies, there are many people like Charlotte who is friendly, smart, and loyal. Charlotte always looks so cool.
There is an interesting plot in Charlotte’s Web. The plot about Dr.Dorian does not only teach children, and he
