Time flies, this is the second semester that I have been in America, Spring Festival was the most important traditional event for Chinese. Unfortunately, I cannot go home and spend this important moment with my family, this was also the first time I cannot say Happy New Year to my families and friends in person. I felt so lonely because I still have a lot of work to do. However, the Chinese Students and Scholars Association held a traditional Chinese New Year’s party at Dewberry Hall, Johnson Center, February 2nd, I was very excited about that.

The show was began at 6.00 pm, and the free food serving was began at 5:00 pm, I was so thankful that they provide Chinese food at this special moment, because I wasn’t ate Chinese food for a very long time. Except for the Chinese, there was also had some students from other countries, they also praised the delicious Chinese food. Although we need to waited for a long line because of so many students, however, people was orderly, we can know that the students association had a very good organization about this party. When time went to 6:00 pm, the show was began, about ten people shared one table, most of the shows was Chinese show, the first one was performed by Tingting Zhuang who is already a popular singer in China, I was really glad that she sang an amazing song to the audience. Now, she was an international student in University of Maryland, Collage Park, I believed that she also missed her families so much, when she was standing on the stage. There was another show attracted me most should be the crosstalk performed by Dawei Zhao and Nan Yang, Crosstalk was one of the traditional art of china, which was also the one I like most. In addition, the most excited part of the show should be the raffle part during the show, every wanted to be the lucky guy and win the first prize, which is the gift card of Chinese supermarket.
