Graduating High School this year will be a big step in my life. It is very frightening and exciting at the same time. I hope to accomplish many achievements within the next four years and even beyond that. One of the greatest goals I hope to reach is to succeed in soul searching.
When I was little, I was inspired by many people's career. In the first grade, I wanted to become an educator when I grow up due to the influence of my teachers. I thought that this profession was the "coolest" career in the world. Helping young children getting a head start in their education is a very important duty. I wanted to help children get a good education to help shape our world and people always say, "Children are our future". Because I really wanted to become a teacher, I decided to train myself by playing "teacher and student" with my older sister, in which I was the teacher. It turned out that I was not very good at it. After watching a very interesting movie about lawyers, being a teacher no longer interested me. Like being a teacher, I tried to gain the experience of being a lawyer by debating with my sister about a particular subject, but we always ended up arguing. I guess being a lawyer would not suite my personality either.
Getting ready for college is a huge aspect in my life and I really do not know what I want to be. There is no central core subject that I believe has my best interests, but I have taken a variety of courses to keep myself very well rounded while trying to find my true passion. High School has given me the opportunity to explore my options and I have come to realize that one out of many things that I do well and enjoy is working with people. Therefore, my goal for college is to progress my communication studies and apply that to my future.
