Thank you for purchasing your Vizio high-definition television. The quality of the image you will see on your Vizio TV is only as good as the quality of the signal it receives. To experience stunning picture quality on u new Vizio TV, you need to access though HD programming. Along with your Vizio set, a complete HD system requires an HD sound system, a HD provider, and proper HD setup connections.
1.2 Picture Quality and Aspect Ratio
You can enjoy clear crisp images through 1080 HD signals. The 1080 HD signal provides more than twice the resolution of any standard TV signal. Aspect Ratio for this console provide viewing in 16:9 (high definition) or 4:3 (standard-definition)
1.3 Installing the TV
Caution should always be used when installing the TV. The TV should be installed on a flat surface avoid tipping. When installing the console allow space for proper ventilation. Avoid installing the console in areas with smoke, dust or high humidity.

1.4 Locating Connections
Left Side Connection- Connect the primary source for connecting video game console or VCR/DVD hookup.
Right Side Connection- Access Power, Menu, Channel Up/Chanel Down, Volume up/Volume Down, and Input controls.
Rear Panel Connections- Power Cord, Service, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, RGB PC, COMPONENT 1, COMPONENT 2, AV2 In, DTV and Audio Out Connections.
1.5 Remote Control
Insert two AA batteries into the remote control. Make sure to match the (+) and (-) symbols with both the remote and batteries. Caution should taken not to mix and match new and old batteries. The effective range of optimal performance is approximately 30 feet. Always kept remote dry and away from both humid and heat sources.
