Why I am considering being a teacher? For one I have always liked taking care of and watching little kids, I think it would be a fun job to do every day. There are a few advantages and a few disadvantages. Some of the advantages are the hours and having summers off.
I have always wanted to be a teacher ever since I have Started going to my aunts house. My aunt owns a daycare in Cassville. Every chance I get in the summer I go to her house and help out with the kids which range in age from 6 weeks to 15 years old. I am very good with the babies. I like to feed them and take care of all their many needs.
Some of the many advantages to teaching are that you have great hours from like 8am-4pm, which is great if have kids. You can still take them to school and be there when they get home.
You also have the weekends off so you can be with your family. The best of all is you have the summer off to be with family and friends.
But on the other hand there are some disadvantages like pay. The average teacher gets paid thirty thousand dollars a year depending on their education. So they don't have extra money to go buy what you want and sometimes what you need. Another disadvantage is that during the summer days that you are off you don't get paid unless you teach summer school. Continuing Education is a big disadvantage it is costly to stay in collage your whole career.
These are a few of the reasons why I am considering being a teacher, and why I like kids and enjoy their reactions and sometimes excitement to learn new facts and information that they didn't had know idea of before.
