"OF MICE AND MEN"
In the book "Of Mice And Men", there are two men, named Lenny and George. Lenny is very ignorant, although he does what he is told, e never uses his brain to solve anything, whether it be the simplest of things that we would suspect to be common sense. On the other hand, George is quick witted and dark of face, unlike Lenny who is very pale. Lenny's appearance is almost opposite that of Georges. He's big, somewhat ogre-like and just dumb looking. George is small and he just looks like he knows what he is talking about.
The unlikely pair have been traveling along with each other for some time now, in fact when they were kids George used to pick on Lenny for his lack of knowledge until one day Lenny saved Georges life and never again have they made fun of each other. Lenny and George always look out for one another, that's why when the two went to go get a job working in a field, the rarely got into trouble because they both had each others backs.
The owner of the ranch on which they had their new job was a mean man, who had an even nastier son named Curley. Curley's wife always flirted with the other men of the ranch, which in turn drove Curley out of his mind. He began speculating that she has been having sexual relations with one of the men on the field named slim, slim is a man who basically controls everyone else by a sort of verbal contract.
One day Curley got so annoyed that he attempted to attack Lenny who he had speculated was having sexual relations with his wife...(surprise surprise). Lenny being the dumb man he is didn't know what the heck to do when he was getting trampled on by this little spoiled brat. Finally George told Lenny that he had to fight back.
