I am evaluating Cristiano Ronaldo as being the “greatest of all time” soccer player. By the time he was around ten years old, he was already recognized as a phenomenal soccer player. But, his talent just kept on growing as he reached his early teens. Eventually, at the age of sixteen he was spotted by Manchester United. They signed him for a record-breaking number for someone as young as him, twelve million pounds. The first game he played for them he made them proud, already scoring three goals. Right after his performance they signed a five-year contract for thirty-one million pounds. He took his team and led them to winning three premier-league titles. People were in awe of his skill at such a young age.
Today, impossibly he has become an even better player. He has scored five-hundred ninety-three goals and still has more years to come. Not only that but he has also received five Balloon d’Ors awards. Also, he has been awarded over twenty-six trophies in his career. This being one of the highest numbers in soccer history. Cristiano has made new contracts with different teams but the success of the teams he’s on is incredible. The teams are lucky to have him because his skill is unmatchable and he is often described as the best player to ever play against. Pele said,” Ronaldo has come through for the past two or three years and is the best in Europe. I think at the moment no doubt Ronaldo is the best player."
