A lot of people don't take the time to consider everyone, but it is very easy to include inclusive language in your conversations. You could have easily avoided your common mistakes by including everyone, instead of just using him, her, wives, good ol' boys, and guys. You could have used these words: them, they, spouses, business people, and others to include everyone. In the future, you should try to take time to write your papers properly, think over what you are trying to say, and who you are speaking to. Secondly, you should reread over anything you write, to make sure that you are not using exclusive language. Lastly, ask someone else to read over what you have written to triple check your papers.

You should try to remember that you are not just speaking to just a man or just a woman. You are speaking to everyone, and that you don't want to offend anyone.
