Death penalty
Philippines already experienced death penalty in time of Ex President Ferdinand Marcos where he declared the Martial Law including the death penalty. Where in this time some people experienced awful memories that until now affects us somewhat in our daily lives.
Martial law started in the year 1972 and abolished under the 1987 Constitution. And the Philippines is the first Asian country who abolish the death penalty for all crimes.
And now 2017 many people believe that Martial Law / death penalty has the chance that Pres. Duterte allow it again in our country. This start when Davao bombing happen last Sept. 2, 2016 when Pres. Duterte declares the state of lawlessness.
Many people disagreed
But if some people are disappointed, For always there would be a people that might be happy if death penalty would restore. Like the artist known as Cherry Pie Picache she agreed that the death penalty should reinstitute because of the brutal way of death of her Mother. Where Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) agreed on her because this is what the (VACC) stand for.
In my own point of view if death penalty has the chance to be restored there would be a chance that many people would start a protest until those people that are innocent may implicate to the fight that might happen.
Well for me I was thinking of what if I murdered someone? And the authorities say’s my punishment is death? I wonder what would be my reaction in case that thing happen.
I cant imagine my self that I was just waiting to the time of my death
What does it feel? Or How does it feel?
