Decision Capture (http://decisioncapture.com/default.asp) is software that allows you to organize the important factors of a company leading to accomplish the goal that the company has set forth. Through Decision capture software you are able to prioritize the actions needed using a Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method to meet your company's goal.
This software is more geared to company that needs to provide products or services out to the market. This software enables the company, after market research that includes the consumers' satisfactory level of your product as well as competitors products, to focus on the consumers' priorities, analyze the functions of your company internally to see if you are able to satisfy the consumers' priorities and then create targets for any functions that are lax.
Using the QFD approach, the information needed to make the decision is organized within a matrix. This matrix prioritizes your consumers' satisfactory levels, prioritizes the actions that your company can take to satisfy the consumer, and calculates a set of target values for your company to follow to fulfill your goal in a cost effective and timely manner.
Decision capture is useful software for businesses because it allows the company to analyze the best approach to meet your company's goal by organizing the data and presenting it in the order of what needs to be done first to improve or develop a product or service that is most beneficial to the consumer based on the prior market research. This approach can save great time and money focusing first on what will satisfy the consumer and in turn increase revenue.
This software will not affect how the user frames a decision because there are no risks factored. Because this software requires the user to first bring the data or market research, the risks are already weeded
