Dell, referred as a non manufacturer has grown tremendously in the past several years and became a multi billion dollar company in supplying computers and many more variety of products, as said by Mr. Michael Dell, times have changed from being a manufacturer.
Dell refers Desktops as Commodity product and in-fact as said it won't go away it may change in structure and technology but it became a necessity in today's world. Acquiring the big share without good service is impossible and as said every one looking for services not just the product.
Innovation and growth comes with products Dell is focusing on entering the world of printing a huge market in deed, variety of printers are created, but Dell is looking ahead in the future to create an utmost technology to capture the printing industry.
With product and market information nothing is possible achieving, the research & study on sectors needs critical thoughts have been achieved and which is the strongest strength of Dell. Customer service - "on time first time fix", resolution made dell the leader and as said Dell got the up-to-date technology to monitor and make improvements by time and necessary to satisfy the queries, as a learner of continuous improvement, Dell's customer experience makes it wonder and dig deep into all the former customers experiences they had and types of issues they might face and came-up with all the probability of solutions well in advance.
With reference to the view and answers by Mr. Michael, I felt the Dell is open to act immediately and quickly to the new market like printing industry or gaming industry, it is ready to invest and adopt according to the market change in trend, in the way Dell started and grew I am quite sure of Mr. Michael interest in many more sectors.
