Do any of you get tired of your everyday routine? going to school everyday, stressing about homework and presentations, having to go to work and all those. There will always come a time when all of us reach a point when we’re just burned out and exhausted by our day to day lives and sometimes we just need a break from everything, to reflect, and reenergize. But we can't do this by just staying at home and doing the things we do because that wont really take our minds off of our responsibilities. Traveling takes us away from all those, because we leave everything behind from the place we left and being in a new place and a new environment, helps us forget stress, problems, and responsibilities that we have to face. Also, you cant travel and work at the same time because you paid for the airfare, so might as well take advantage of it.
Another point that i have is that traveling increases knowledge. We learn about cultures of other countries, meeting the locals, and seeing beyond what we can, it makes us more open minded about the world around us. What i learned through traveling is that sometimes the strangers you meet, despite language barriers are friendly, hospitable, and decent, and sometimes they'll make you realize how lucky you are in life. Also, most places are safe or even safer than home. Also, there are a lot of opportunities in which we can travel like study abroad opportunities. From there we don't only learn about education but also about the place we are going to, the history of the famous places, or even their economy. Lastly, traveling makes us learn about ourselves more. It encourages us to take risks, seek adventure, be responsible for ourselves, independent, and even find out what really makes us happy.
