Drinking

In making the choice of drinking and driving it could make a big impact on a person's school and community. If a high school losses a student it could be really hard because of all their friends and their teachers would have a huge lose. This is the same throughout the community. When someone drinks and drives it will hurt the community, because when someone is intoxicated and they decide to drive they will be putting everyone who is in their town at risk of dieing or getting really hurt. To sum up if a teenager drinks and drives they could really hurt their school and their community.
Finally if someone drinks and drives and doesn't die they will get in a lot of trouble with the law. If a cop has suspicion that someone had been drinking they can give them a sobriety test and or a breathalyzer. Blowing over a .08 is a DUI and anything under that is DWAI. The person will then loose their licenses and probably serve some time in jail. There will also be a lot of expensive classes that the person is required to finish in order to get their license back. In conclusion if someone makes the choice of drinking and driving they will have to deal with the law, if they live till they are caught.
Teens drinking and driving is becoming a big problem. Though there are many ways from preventing them from doing this. Sometimes all someone has to do is just talk to someone and be a good friend. Don't let the person one must take the keys away. Someone could also be a designated driver, if a friend is going out drink there friend could go with them and drive them home. Some people try to help but their friend wont listen, this might be the time that you need to tell a counselor or another adult. Sincerely to be a good friend one must complete these traits to save their friend's life.
