        Table 1 show the result for the durability test in the two set-ups of cork board with two samples each. The cork board was pricked 25 and 50 times to test its durability. Based on the table it can analyse that Set –up B was not completely torn compared to Set-up A. So the pricking capacity of the cork board is inversely proportional to the number of the cork board pricked. The lesser the pricking of the cork board the more durable it will be. And the more you prick the cork board the easier the cork board will be damage. At the same time, it can be analyse that Set-up B was not completely damage, which contains many amount of manila palm leaves. It can be concluded that set-up B is the most durable among the set-ups.

Table B: Firmness of the cork board

Table 2 shows the result for the firmness test. It can be inferred that set- up A and set-up B passed the test. Set-up A with 100g of adonidia leaves and 50g of paper mixture. In Set- up A the results are as follows: Sample 1 is hard and Sample 2 is Moderate. Set- up B with 150g of adonidia leaves and 50g of paper mixture. For Set – up B the results are as follows: Sample 1 and Sample 2 is soft. The Amount of sunlight can affect the product, the more the product will be exposed to sunlight the product will be hard. But all of the Set-ups were affordable and eco-friendly.

DISCUSSION

The researchers added the amount of leaves, water, paper, and corn starch, which in effect, enhanced the quality of the results. In the previous research there was a need for a material to soften the product. Instead of adding new materials to be used, the researchers came up with an idea to improve the study. In order to save money and to lessen the complications with the past research. We, the researchers came up with an idea of improving our study. Instead of alternative scrapbook papers we decided to improve our study and make it an alternative cork board.

This product can be used by different people and it will surely be in demand. The product can even be the substitute of cork boards, as we all know cork boards are made from oak trees, which takes time to use it.

The results of the past study and our experiment doesn’t really differ. Its outcome gave us an outer perspective on what our improvements should be. We agreed and continued our study, on improving our past research and instead of making it as an alternative scrapbook papers we improved it to alternative cork boards. Our study was improve by adding the amount of the materials. This creates a stronger, firmer, and product which can be pricked. Which is a factor of a cork board
