Dyson, Michael Eric's essay titled "The Truth About Martin Luther King" published January 24, 2000, in Newsweek, its try to conquer those who neglect King's basic principal and falsely claim his 'radical legacy' as their own profit, by declared this hot issue ,which could turn the whole world upside-down, to everyone. His hidden agenda whisper a satirize order to us to get back into beautiful road of King.
King's strike is distorted. His attempt to equalized 'Blacks & White' is disappeared. The tough road that king built, to claim Blacks as a real population not just to be called American but still have no accomplishments, appeared to be a beautiful road to everyone. "We have made three mistakes in trampling King's legacy" stated by Dyson.
King disappointed with the way blacks people in his age were threaten by an iniquity law, which distributed to them from management, put them into a low-birth person. King was the one who stand tall and insisted to those kinds of things. His crave was to guard his neighbor's children with right justice. He insisted his equal sign by his principles "equal basis" and "a redistribution of economic power". As day gone By, Someone have weaken King's principles by miss interpreted. This ,for sure, "We have taken the teeth out of King's ideas" said Dyson.
We are now remembering king as Super Hero story. Most of our juvenile seem to unidentified King from between concrete or abstract. We have to realize that King used to be humanity like us not an idealism icon. He made many mistake as same as accuracy. We have to understand that King's came so far before his accomplishment. If our next generation start to understand about his humanity this would be great otherwise we are just 'overly romanticized King' as Dyson claimed.
